We are checking on our layered products before upgrading our VMS
cluster from V6.2 to V7.1 of OpenVMS for both VAX and Alpha. When we
called RSI to verify that IDL would continue to work when we upgraded to
OpenVMS V7.1,they replied that they thought it would, but they had not
tested it and they suggested I check this newsgroup.

So, please forgive me if this material has been gone over before,
but,
is anybody using IDL on OpenVMS VAX and/or Alpha V7.1? If so, is it
behaving
correctly? Also, which version of IDL are you using?
