Hi,Liu,you can set the program`s compatibility(like Win7 Sp1 and you can set Win7 for the program.)

I'm running a procedure that has two more procedures written within and also called.Upon running it idlde.exe stops working. Have you figured out by any chance

As I remember, IDL 7.0 is first version based on Eclipse project engine.
Do you have any installed Java software ?
If so, what version of Java do you have ? I recommend you to install Java 1.5
(early update versions).
