Hello All,

Does anyone else have the above error when they start up the bridge in IDL 8.5? It only does it on one Windows machine that I am using. AFIK the only difference between that machine and the ones that work, is that I don't have administrator privilege on the one that gives the error.

Hi Ronn,

I've not seen that, but I generally have admin privilege. Which side of the bridge? Which command is throwing the error?

Hey Jim!

It happens on initialization, when the DLM first loads.

It doesn't appear to keep any Python commands from working.

Which of the DLMs, python27 or python34? Are you using Anaconda? I don't see anything in the DB on this topic so you might want to open a support call on this. Dr. Torrence made some important Python bridge mods in 8.5.1 as well, if you're only running 8.5.

Yes to Anaconda and it is using python 3.4. I'm also stuck at 8.5 on that machine for awhile.
