Plot window from Function keeps changing [message #92709]

Hi
I have started using Plot function in my idl scripts. Each time I run the script it opens a new window in which it plots.
However recently I am being faced a new problem. If I run my script multiple times a new window is opens but this window is blank ( black in color) however the new script attempts to plot in the previous window. Astonishingly if I move my plot windows around the screen using my mouse the contents of the window keep on changing.
Any clues as to why this is happening.Using IDL 8.2.3 or higher version.
