ZOOM in IDL 5.0 [message #9282]

Hi,

I wrote a progam in IDL 4.0. In the main event handler, I
call the ZOOM procedure, which works OK. When I run the same program
(4.0 code) under IDL 5.0, it halts when calling the ZOOM procedure. The
distributor said that it had something to with combining two message
loops: one of ZOOM and one of XMANAGER. What does this mean, and why does
it work under IDL 4.0 and not under 5.0 ?
