Hello,

Is there a way to tell, from within a program, if it is running within the IDLDE rather than the command line idl?

Thanks

Found the answer here: http://www.idlcoyote.com/code_tips/guiused.php

I was doing my searchEngining using 'idlde' but I noticed that the docs call it a 'workbench.' Changed my search terms and, voila! idlde must be an old term

Actually, there is a typo in the web page (an extra comma). The answer is
Print, (FStat(-1)).IsAGui
