Slope and aspect from x,y,z data [message #9313]

I need to calculate slope and aspect from x,y,z data [an array with
North, South and elevation]. I do not find a routine to do this in IDL
5.0 help or in the LPL search page of "all" IDL routines. Has any one
done this?
