I have IDL 8.4 and Windows 7. If I upgrade to Windows 10, will IDL keep working without new license and new installation?
Thank you,
Vladimir

Running 8.3 and 8.5 - no issues. I'm actually liking W10.

Thank you, Mike. Did you have IDL installed before you switch to Win 10. My concern is that after I upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10, IDL may require a new license file or new installation. How about it?

Vladimir,
I did the upgrade to Win10 "over" a Win7 app (64bit) ... and the only
re-licensing issues I face were with MSoft Office (go figure) ...

Vladimir,

Also ... if you are still fearful of a disaster by upgrading over Win10 (which can happen, just Google it) ... I recommend just cloning your OS drive (Macrium Free) ... and if the worst happens ... just clone it back to Win7.
