ROI to EVF and vice versa in IDL [message #93571]

Hi all,

Greetings!

I will be more than happy if someone can please help me out here.
My problem is:
"1. I have an HDF5 file (sea ice type data set from OSI SAF). I have created some regions of interest using it. Now, I would like to convert this ROI to an EVF.
2.Then, I will be using this EVF on another binary data set (Sea ice concentration/brightness temperature data) and
3. convert the EVF to corresponding ROI overlaid on the second data set.
I know how to do this using ENVI but I would like to do this programmatically using IDL."
May someone please lend some helping hand on this?!!!
