Greetings,

The documentation for the December 1992 release of the IDL
Astronomy User's Library is now available through anonymous FTP at the
following site:

Host: nereid.sal.ists.ca [132.251.40.2]
Directory: pub/idl_astro/

The above directory contains two text files (aaareadme.txt and
aabreadme.txt) which contain more information on the IDL Astronomy
User's Library, and how to retrieve it. In addition, the directory
contains the documentation files in various formats for the December
1991 and December 1992 releases of the software.

A word of caution though: since the IDL Astronomy User's Library
contains over 300 astronomical and general-purpose IDL procedures,
you'll understand that the documentation is rather large. The
uncompressed PostScript file is 1.91 MB in length and the ducument
itself, including the table of content and one-line summaries of the
routines, amounts to 282 pages... If you know your way around DVIPS,
you may be able to reduce the number of pages somewhat.

Please send additional comments/ideas/suggestions through email at
turgeon@nereid.sal.ists.ca

- Ben
