To the gentle readers of our IDL newsgroup:

I hope you will forgive this brief intrusion.

As well as having had numerous smaller contracts, I have been very fortunate to have a steady client for over a dozen years, and recently he was let go from his research position in a corporate workforce adjustment. It may turn out that none of that work will be continued, so I find myself suddenly very available for new business!

I have done a long-overdue update on my website:
http://d-jackson.com

... including a portfolio of much of my IDL work, complete with pretty pictures:

I am now also signed up on LinkedIn:

Thanks for your indulgence here!

Cheers,
-Dick

P.S.: Considered and rejected subject lines:
"Cyber Monday special on software consultants!"
"Spend those year-end budget leftovers!"

Hello all,

If I may, please excuse this brief commercial message:

Once again, as it turns out, a corporate business decision on the part of a client I had been working for last year has left me short of work, but that brings new opportunities! If anyone is looking to have some IDL consulting work done, please feel free to reach me.

My website has had a makeover and some content updates:
http://d-jackson.com
http://d-jackson.com/portfolio/
http://d-jackson.com/resume/

We now return you to your regularly scheduled newsgroup. Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,
-Dick
