Seeing as how everyone seems to want an FAQ for IDL, I've
taken it upon myself to write one. I've written a few questions
down off the top of my head:
---------------------
General:
What is IDL?
What is PV-WAVE?
Who is RSI?
How are they related?
How do I get IDL?
On what systems does IDL run?
Are there anonymouse FTP sites for IDL?
Specific technical questions:
Why doesn't polycontour fill open contours?

Please send me email with questions you feel would be appropriate
for the FAQ. If you're feeling enterprising, provide me with
answers as well. I already have answers to the questions above.
Once I have a prototype, I will post it and place a copy in my
anon ftp directory.
[ A while back, someone posted a concise description of the
IDL-PVWAVE schism which I seem to have misplaced. If someone
has it, please send it to me. ]
