I am reprojecting longitude and latitude data into a Mollweide
projection using the "WCS" family of routines from the idl
astronomy library. As expected this creates gaps in the reprojected
data array. I thought that SPH_SCAT would be a good way of
filling in the gaps.
SPH_SCAT calls TRIANGULATE which proceeds to crash IDL 4 with
a segmentation fault(!) in UNIX.
In IDL 5 there is no crash, but I get the following undocumented error:
% TRIANGULATE: Points are co-linear, no solution
Does anyone have any ideas of some other way I can fill in the gaps or
some way to make SPH_SCAT work for me?
Thanks.
