I am experiencing a curious problem that surfaced when
I "upgraded" to Wave 6.1. In 6.05 my checkboxes had
checks in them and my radiobuttons were round. In
6.1, the checks are missing and the radiobuttons are
back to the good ol' diamond shape. I have the proper
settings in my .Xdefaults file and the program even
recognizes these settings using WwResource.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
I have also experienced other strange widget behavior
that did not occur in 6.05. Tech support says nothing
has changed from 6.05 to 6.1 that would cause this
behavior. But I beg to differ.
My programs were running fine. I "upgraded" to a new
version. My programs are no longer running fine.
Nothing else changed. So why is it unreasonable for
me to think it is *their* problem and not mine? I
for one don't think it is, but I get the impression
that tech support wishes I would quit bothering them
(i.e., I caused the problem, or better yet, I *am* the
problem)
I think I have been reading too much Alan Cooper,
