IDL 4.0 on HP-UX 10.2 - Problems with TVSCL [message #9526]

We had IDL 4.0 running on our HP-UX 9.05 server. We never had
any problem running our IDL applications either at the HP-UX
server's console or on xterm clients attached to the server.

We recently purchased faster HP machines. These machines are
running HP-UX 10.2. We still have IDL 4.0 on this new server.

When we launch our IDL applications from the new server's console,
we have no problem. However, when we launch our IDL applications
from an xterm client, the application starts of right, and we get
the user interface displayed right on the xterm's monitor. But
the application hangs on the TVSCL and TV commands. No IDL or
Xwindows error messages show up.

Any one experience some thing similar? Any suggestions greatly
appreciated.
