Greetings,
Last week I posted a small utility, "Xcd", here in
comp.lang.idl-pvwave. Thanks to Karsten Rodenacker, Xcd now runs on
Unix.
Xcd is an IDL widget program that allows you to change IDL's current
directory with little or no typing (i.e. by clicking the mouse). Xcd
runs on Windows95 (I haven't tried NT), OpenVMS (thanks to Jim
Pendleton) and Unix (HP & SGI -- Haven't tried other flavors).
Kartsen's modifications to Xcd add some other nice improvements, and,
since originally posting it here on comp.lang.idl-pvwave, I have
tightened up Xcd's oo design a bit. (Methods no longer return pointers
to data members.)
As before, I am keeping the latest copy of Xcd at:
ftp.netcom.com
login: anonymous
directory: pub/pa/paulcs
get these three files:
xcd.pro
get_devices.pro
direxist.pro
