Can anyone please help me!
I am new to IDL and have only recently started to program in this
language. I have designed a number of small codes to plot 3-D graphs for
sets of data from experiments carried out in the laboratory where I
work. I would like to 'standardise' the colour table so that for any of
the given values in any of the different plots there is a colour
associated with that particular value. My problems have been that the
colour table maps on to the graph and not the graph on to the colour
table. Does anyone understand my problem, and if so can they help me.

Many Thanks

Neil.
