Thanks for the pointer. My problem is that I don't have regular access
to a Windows machine, but my code is expected to run reasonably well
thereon. Think of this as the Shiva Tripurantakamurti piercing the
fortress of my code and you will get closer to the true nature of
IDL-Cross-Platform-out-of-Body-Experiences.
If anyone does have a Windows machine out there (and I know you do), if
you happen to be bored, please try an 8x8 bitmap or larger, with minimal
spacing around the bitmap pattern. Enjoy.
