I am working with WAVE/IDL on SUN Openwindows within the institute of photogrammetry.
Within photogrammetry we measure homologue points either manually or we use the
automatic method of correlation. To measure the same points in two or more large images
(bigger than the screen) I need a 'split screen tool' with overview windows of the
scenes and may be some additonal functions p.e. which help to position the cursor in the
approximated area etc.
If something like that already exists it would save time. (I have a sunview tool like
that written in C and using filemapping.)
