Have anyone istalled IDL on Solaris 2.x ?
I ask this because i have version 3.0 for SUN,
in floppy disk distribution format, but i can't
un-tar these anyway. The installation guide that i received
(version 2) to a 'bar' command, no more
supported by Solaris 2.x Any other command i've tried,
such as tar, cpio, dd doesn't help me.
The tar command report a 'directory checksum error'.
Any suggestion is very appreciated.
