Hello,
I am currently trying to use IDL to analyze digital aerial images of
forests using a mathematical expression known as a VARIOGRAM.
Variograms will enable me to extract forest parameters such as number of
trees in an image and the height of trees in an image. If anyone knows
of an existing routine to calculate variograms in IDL, please contact me
at vbharadi@acs.ucalgary.ca. Your assistance is much appreciated.
