I'm trying to do some numerical deconvolutions of optical and near-IR
spectra given an instrumental response to a monochromatic source, and
have looked at adapting the max-likelihood routine coded by Frank Varosi
at NASA/GSFC. Unfortunately these seem more intended for 2D images -
can anyone point me in the direction of IDL routines for the
deconvolution of spectra?

Many thanks,
Keith.
