Laurent:
If I understand your problem, the solution is the DEVICE procedure with
the [XY]SIZE and [XY]OFFSET keywords. These allow you to specify the
size and location of your plot window on the page. You might want to
check out the IDL FAQ (http://ww2.sd.cybernex.net/~mgs/idl_faq.html) as
well, specifically, questions T12 and T14.
