Hi Folks,
Since IDL 5.0.2 is available (although held ransom by
the UPS shippers), I've decided to retire the IDL 5.0
anomalies database and give everyone a fresh start.
Lord knows we all need one now and then. :-)
In its place I've decided to try an IDL 5 Information page,
which I envision as having articles about topics in IDL 5
that should be shared among the user community. I see it
as a place to get information, explanations, example code,
and feedback from the experts on topics of interest to all
of us. I've received commitments from several people who
have volunteered to help me keep the material accurate
and informative.
As always, I appreciate your contributions and your commitment
to taking IDL programming courses. This work cannot be done
without your support. Please let me know if you find the
page useful.
