Dear users,

I am working with IDL version 4.0.1 under WIN 95. Usually, I am using 12
bit images. I can load them to the image display, but when I want to
extract a region of interest, the function TVRD returns only 8 bit values.
Is there a simple way of extracting 12 bit sub arrays interactively?
