This is one of the things that the IDL 5.0.2 Release notes say was
fixed for WindowsNT, but I can't find any evidence of it. It's
annoying as hell.

A WSHOW command from the command line will get the window forward
without changing the focus from the command line, however. (Although
this has to be done AFTER you pick up the damn mouse and click in
the command line window.)

There were several other Windows things that I was told were "fixed",
but weren't. I'm guessing that these problems were fixed somewhere,
but this version was built with old files. I hope we get the ol'
IDL 5.0.2.1 release sometime soon. :-)

Cheers,

David
