I've tried to use the IDLDE on the Mac several times, but keep going back
to BBEdit. The IDLDE consistently screws up indents and resizes my editor
window to the size of the last opened widget. This seems to be worse when
your files get transferred back and forth between UNIX and Windows
systems, which is pretty much a daily occurrence for me. When your last
widget is a small dialog box, it's a little tough to edit within a 4x6
area. I complained about this and several other problems with the editor
for the Mac last year, but not much has happened, yet. Maybe we can talk
them into doing a a plug-in for BBEdit.
