Let me second that comment.

Good idea with one caveat. Putting an email address on a website is an
open invitation for spam. Everytime I post the FAQ I get to look forward
to dozens of unsolicited emails. I'll put a reminder of the downside of
listing an email on the page(s) that handle that.

I was pondering this on a drive this morning. Lots of people have a small
library of routines that they use in-house but have not put them in an
accessible library. A simple means of uploading or linking files (.pro or
.sav) into a common site, ought to increase the availability of routines.
It would be searchable of course, and sortable by author, routine name,
routine type, keywords, etc.
