I didn't mean you should copy old versions to /lib/ld-2.0.7. The check in
the script checks to see which version of RedHat you're using.

Just install:
compat-glibc-5.2-2.0.7.1.i386.rpm
compat-libs-5.2-1.i386.rpm
compat-binutils-5.2-2.9.1.0.23.1.i386.rpm

and change the idl script (or create a new one).
