/GET_FONTNAMES for X-windows [message #1561]

Has anyone been able to get the GET_CURRENT_FONT, GET_FONTNAMES and GET_FONTNUM
keywords to the DEVICE command to work with X-windows? These are supposed
to place info about the available X-windows fonts into output variables,
but they don't seem to have any effect for us.

We are able to successfully use the FONT keyword to DEVICE to select
different fonts, and we can use the Unix 'xlsfonts' or 'xfontsel' commands to
view the available fonts. But we can't get the fontnames from within IDL.

We are running IDL V3.5 with Motif on both Sun 4.1.3 and Vax/Vms.
