I'm afraid I don't have what it takes to give this a try right now,
but it sounds plausible, and I bet there would be heaps of gratitude
from more than just me, if someone could try this in Windows NT.
(Off-topic: if someone did get this working, and idlwave-shell worked
under NT-Emacs, and I finally convinced David of the True Path of
Emacs, we might all be treated to his inimitable insights... ;-)
