If IDL could "forget about" common blocks and named
structures, we would *all* be in a world of trouble. :-(

Exiting IDL during development is a price we pay for
having IDL work like we expect it to work once we
get the program running.

P.S. Let's just say working with named structures
tends to enforce planned programming procedures. :-)
