Hi Nando,
By coincidence I have just tried working with XWINDOW.
It works for the default if I type xwindow. But if I try:
XWINDOW, 'SURFACE', Dist(20), Charsize=1.5
I get these error messages:

XWINDOW: Incorrect number of arguments.

Maybe I don't understand completely how this function works but I have
the feeling I am just missing something.
Did you encounter these errors? Can you give me a hint about what I
might be doing wrong?

I use { mipseb IRIX unix 5.2 Oct 30 1998}
