It is not true that you can't run dual monitors under NT 4.0. We are doing
it, and IDL works fine with it. The limitation is that you have to buy a
graphics card which specifically supports it, but they are available. Since
I am not in front of the machine I can't tell you what model we have right
now. But it's very nice, the desktop is 3200x1280 I think.
