IDL> print,!version
{ sparc sunos unix 5.4 Sep 25 2000 64 64}

Thanks for your response Mark. I'll bet it must be a 64-bit-only bug.
Can anyone else verify this bug on another 64-bit machine?

Interestingly, if I don't pass the hour, minute, and second, then I get
the correct answer with version 5.4.
