Thanks for the help. Thanks to the mail of Brian Borchers I could
translate a Matlab package
(http://www.nmt.edu/~borchers/hankel.html)into IDL, which seems to do
exactly what I want. So in case anyone else is interested in Hankel
transforms...give me a shout....
