Did you have the actual HASP driver for your dongle?
In the past we have had some problems with the hasp.

My version is 3.81 (this is not the newest but it works)

And you are sure that is not a color problem .
Do you use 24 bit color and device,decomposed=0 ?

This could be a problem of a duplicated routine in your library with one
of the idl internals.
Did you have experience with your programs and a different IDL Version?

Normally not.

We have a lot of experience with idl and w2k. With the routines
we are using it don't crashes.
