hi, all,
thank you all for answering my question.
i could save the image in color in the format of "jpeg" or "tiff"
but the quality of the image is not good enough for me.
i'd like to publish the image in a journal
and it has to be postscript quility.

now, i tried to save the image into postscipt file
by clicking "print" button and selecting "to file" or something.
when the printer is set to a black-and-white printer,
xobjview saves the image in the ps file ok. and of course in blackandwhite.
gv and xv can read it.
but if the printer is set to a color printer,
the ps file is unreadable by gv or xv. it is not just the window problem
adding a few lines for the printer setting at the top of the ps file.
the whole ps file is just unreadable.

do i have to set up the color printer properly ?

i tried to run the xobjview in one of my linux box.
but even when i set my default printer to be a color printer,
xobjview saves in blackandwhite.
and there is no button to select it to be color.

thanks in advance, seunghun
