I've managed to get an secondary X server running with RH7.2. Unfortunately
it refuses all connections, even from the window manager. Not very useful.

The setup which used to work with vn. 4.0.1 of XFree86 no longer works with
the 4.1 version supplied with RH7.2. Whether that's a new "feature" or a
bug or a problem with the RH supplied rpms I don't know at the moment.

I had thought that it was possible for a user to run a second X server and
specify their own XF86onfig file, but it appears that the security of the X
server won't allow that. So you will need to get the cooperation of your
sys admin to have multiple screen depths.
