Hi Daben
I've used SeaDAS for a couple of years now (and IDL for about the same
period) so maybe I could help.

The SeaDAS technichal support people are wonderful. They have always
been able to help our group with some more technical issues - so if
someone here can't answer, they should be your next step (I forget their
address but it is probably seadas@seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov).

If you could mention what platform and version of SeaDAS your using -
that might help.
