Are you sure you have IDL in the directory you *think*
you have it in when you issue the FINDFILE command?

That is the only reason I can think of why it would
work one day and not the next, .... unless. You don't
happen to have a wooden cross and a handful of
garlic handy, do you? You may need it... :-(
