You may obtain the IDL 5.6 Mac OS X "pre-release" by joining the IDL 5.6
Beta program. Do to so, simply email info@rsinc.com.

Also, the IDL 5.6 beta has a patch to run under 10.2. You can obtain the
patch on the IDL 5.6 Beta Web site once you join the testing program.

Thanks for your interest and your help testing IDL 5.6!
