Yes, there are two nice utilities I have found, an IDL mode for
editing IDL source, and a mode to run IDL from an emacs buffer (great
under X, not so good for VT/TEK terminals).

The latest versions can be obtained via anonymous FTP in:
/jaameri.gsfc.nasa.gov:pub/idl
