Hallo Listland,

Iï¿½m trying to create a shape file out of an ENVI classification result.
ENVI gives the possibility to do this using a detour via the ENVI Vector
File Format. I wanted to do this directly so I wrote some IDL code to do
this using the IDLffShape functions (IDL 5.6). Using this the shapefile
itself looks like expected but it seems to me that it is not possible to
include any map information in this shape. I can hardly believe that IDL is
not able to include this map information to this format, which in my
oppinion has the essential sense to provide spatial information in map
coordinates.
Has anybody out there any experience with this problem either using the
IDLffShape function or is there any ENVI '-doit' function to translate
classification images to shape files directly which I didnï¿½t find ?
