Sorry, I was unclear. I value this, and other, NGs since it is in fact
the main source of info after the manual. For IDL to ignore it/compete
with it is idiotic!
I meant the the IDL employees could do worse than to read and respond
to messages here before spending another year developing, well who
knows (cares) what latest interface/GUI gunk they've spent their money
on this time.
