Install IDL on an IA32 linux system and then copy the entire
directory tree /usr/local/rsi to the Altix system. IDL will run,
but all the 32-bit limitations still apply, and the performance
is extremely poor (time_test3: 1.47s on 3.2GHz Xeon, 6.48s on
1.3GHz Altix).
