For work in progress I use the screen, for publication quality I have to
use post script. I spent ages making a really nice itools composite plot
for a recent paper, and just when I thought it was right (maybe 6 hours
work) printed it to postscript - and realised I had to start all over
again! At that point I decided to stick to what I know - direct
graphics. I wonder how many other people had the same experience?
