The license indeed contains a 'DAEMON' line, but again I need to modify
the hardcoded path to point to the proper path. Could someone from rsync
confirm this is ok (one can change the default /usr/local to /opt with
no consequence).

Ps: Vincent did you see this is not recommended to start the daemon as
root (it's in the output).
