Dilkushi reports that the !4 trick didn't work for him
at all, so I doubt that TexToIDL will help either, since
that is just an indirect way of doing exactly the same

The real question is why isn't it working on your
machine and with your version of IDL. I don't have
many ideas about that! :-(
