Greetings:

I am pleased to announce the release of FastDL v2.0. As you know,
FastDL products significantly decrease the time required to get answers
to complex problems by allowing IDL users to quickly re-purpose
multiple IDL applications to run in parallel on high-performance Linux
clusters.

FastDL offers two independent components that address the varying
computational needs of parallel data analysis and visualization
applications, TaskDL and mpiDL.

§ TaskDL provides the infrastructure to systematically formulate your
IDL processing using a task farm paradigm. If you do the same
computations over different datasets or perform other repetitious
calculations with IDL, TaskDL provides the capability of executing
these tasks in parallel. TaskDL is available for Linux and Mac OS X.

§ mpiDL extends IDL by enabling access to all of the message passing
routines in MPICH. mpiDL targets computationally-intensive
computations that can be broken into smaller problems or domains
(domain decomposition), but require data transmission between
processing. mpiDL is available for Linux and MacOS X.

A general description of these products can be found at

Tech-X Corporation offers licenses for TaskDL, mpiDL, or both products
bundled together as FastDL. Feel free to contact us to help you
determine which product is right for you.

We also want to promote our FastDL user community so that all users can
benefit from what others have learned. Therefore we urge you to join
the FastDL users mail list at
http://fusion.txcorp.com/mailman/listinfo/Fastdl-users/, a great way to
hear about and discuss questions and ideas with both Tech-X employees
and other FastDL users

If you have any questions, or if you want to purchase a license for
FastDL, please contact me at 303-444-2416 or ekase@txcorp.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Ed Kase
